A Writer, Editor and Designer.
Hello! I am an Information Designer with an enthusiastic interest in creative writing and content editing. This passion drives my fascination with various processes in the publishing industry. Having just graduated from Srishti Manipal Institute, I enjoy photography, exploring soft materials (textiles), and weaving. In my free time, I like to read, journal and crochet.
Looking for an opportunity to make a change
I had once, long ago, watched the TED talk "The Danger of a Single Story" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. One line from author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s speech that shook me was, “A single story creates stereotypes and the problem with stereotypes is not that they are untrue, but that they are incomplete. They make one story become the only story.” Since then, these words have shaped not only my perspective but also my approach to storytelling and creative endeavours.
Driven by a desire to challenge singular narratives, I find immense satisfaction in crafting stories that encompass diverse perspectives and experiences. Whether through creative writing or collaborative projects, I embrace the richness that multiple narratives bring. This passion extends to my proficiency in English and Hindi, which allows me to explore cultural nuances and transcend linguistic boundaries in my work.
From participating in literary festivals to freelance editing, I thrive on the collaborative process, constantly learning and evolving. My journey in storytelling is complemented by an interest in visual design, photography, and textiles, where I blend visual artistry with narrative depth. This holistic approach fuels my creativity and enhances my ability to communicate compelling stories across different mediums.
Always open to new opportunities that align with my ethos of inclusive storytelling, I am eager to contribute meaningfully and continue growing as a writer and creative professional.
